Vintage Rubens Original West Highland White Terrier Dog Porcelain Planter Japan

Description

This is a vintage porcelain planter by Ruben’s Original...made in Japan...hand painted.... a West Highland White Terrier. It has its original foil “A Rubens Original” red and gold sticker on the bottom. It has the manufacturer’s mark and the number 417 molded on the bottom. He measures approximately 7” X 7”.
It is preowned and in very nice condition with no chips or cracks. The brow above his left eye and a small area on the left ear has a bit of roughness/discoloration... not very noticeable and not sure if it was made that way or if small area of wear? Very light crazing on both sides of his face. The inside area of the planter has some brown mark areas that I tried washing, but would not come out.. you may be able to clean with stronger solutions? The dog is white (you see very light gray brush strokes on the white to accent the fur effect, but need to look up close to see them) with blue eyes, a red tongue, and a black nose, pink accent color at his ears and mouth.
