Just add a recycled water bottle or soft-drink bottle and mix some insect attractant to start trapping pests without poisonous insecticides. (simple as vinegar & dish-soap for wasps)

Use the following recipes
WASPS, HORNETS, EUROPEAN HORNET & ASIAN HORNET - Tap Trap
Half liter of beer + 2 tablespoon of sugar or honey
Alternatively: Half liter of water + 3 tablespoons of sugar or honey + a glass of vinegar
Alternatively: Sweet white wine (or white wine sweetened with sugar or honey) + 20 to 30 milliliters of mint syrup (roughly equivalent to a small glass)
SPRING TRAPPING: IMPORTANT ADVICE!
Traps should be placed at the end of winter, in early spring. Each wasp trapped in the early spring is a fertile queen establishing a hive.
Each hornet or wasp trapped in the early spring
destroys an ENTIRE hive.
MOTH, CARPUS and MANY OTHER TYPES OF LEPIDOPTERS - Tap Trap
Blend 6 or 7 tablespoons of sugar to one liter of wine and leave it to rest for 15 days with 15 cloves and half cinnamon stick
After 15 days, blend the mixture in 3 liters of water

Four liters of this bait should fill about 8 traps (pour ½ liter of the substance in each)

FRUIT FLIES and MEDITERRANEAN FRUIT FLIES (cherry, citrus, walnut, olive orchards, etc.) - Tap Trap
Pour into the bottle ½ liter of liquid ammonia (the one used for cleaning, with no added scent) and add some raw fish scraps (such sardines, anchovies or similar).
The bait is ready (as ammonia comes already diluted in the right amount of 5%.)
COMMON FLIES and BOW FLIES - Tap Trap.
Half liter of water + raw fish scraps, sardines, anchovies, or similar baits (roughly 20 to 30 grams).
