In addition to covering the unit while not in use, the lid also works as a side draining tray. By sitting on an angle, it gives you a place to put freshly fried products while the excess oil drains back into the tank.
Thermostatic Temperature Control
Allowing you to keep the oil at the perfect temperature for whatever you are cooking, the easy-to-use thermostatic temperature control dial can be set at 200-370 degrees Fahrenheit.
