    Vehicle Details
This is my 1995 Jaguar XJ12. Purchased it a couple years ago, had the car repainted, looks really good, wasn’t a cheap job, cost about 00. It currently has just under 80k miles. Rides very smooth. The car isn’t perfect by any means however it is quite nice. This would be a good second car for anyone who likes to tinker. It’s the 6.0 V12 which is both a reliable and easy engine to work on, especially compared to the previous generation Jaguars. This car has been leaking power steering fluid so there is a bit of fluid on the underbody of the car, however I just had someone take a look at it and it turned out to be a loose pressure line to the steering rack, and hasn’t been losing fluid since. The sunroof isn’t in current working order. But does appear to be water tight. These cars do have a tendency for the gas tanks to rust out, this one however has had a new fuel tank put in, and everything but the lines replaced in the fuel system including the fuel pump, filter, and injectors. It has had new wheel bearings in the front. It could use break pads in the near future, brand new hankook tires, only about 30 miles on them. A new interstate battery a year ago. There are some finicky things about the car such as on start up you sometimes have to wiggle the shift leaver to make sure it’s picking up park. The rear view mirror has blacked out, along with the 3 pixelated screens for the radio, clock, and the climate control. Kind of like ink has filled them up. I’m trying to be as straight forward about the car as I can, if you have any questions message me through eBay messenger. As of now the airbag light is on, it’s been diagnosed as a bad airbag control unit. I have one on the way and it should be being put it in the next few days. If this does not resolved the problem I will update the description. If it fixed it I will remove this part from the description. I am located in Virginia but have a clear Vermont title, in my name, in hand. It is not currently inspected and I don’t plan to have it done. But when I went to have it inspected a couple months ago, it failed for the airbag light, the power steering leak, and the front wheel bearings, all of these have been addressed, and everything else passed. Should pass any state inspection no problem (pending the airbag issue mentioned earlier). All in all a great car that I’ve enjoyed owning but I’m finding myself not using it, and feel someone else would really enjoy the car. It’s quite fast, being it has 300hp and 350lbft. But it’s also luxurious, smooth, and quiet. Could be driven home but would highly consider a trailer for further distances. As I’ve never driven the car more the 20-25 miles.

The airbag ecu did not fix the airbag light. The new computer is good and the old one was bad. However there is another fault in the airbag system.
